Haripriyan was created with one simple goal: to bring South Indian fashion into the spotlight.
South Indian fashion is rooted in centuries of tradition, yet much of it remains unfamiliar outside of the communities that have grown up with it.
Growing up, our founder found it surprisingly difficult to find half sarees online. While other Indian styles were widely represented and accessible, South Indian aesthetics felt noticeably underrepresented. She saw an opportunity to create a brand that would make these styles more accessible while celebrating the beauty and richness of South Indian fashion.
The heart of Haripriyan is the Half-Saree. These timeless silhouettes are brought to life through distinctive textiles and intricate gold-toned zari, with fabric woven from scratch and half sarees handcrafted in Tamil Nadu for Haripriyan.
